Hongyadong Folklore Area (洪崖洞), often referred to as Hongyadong, is a commercial scenic spot located in Yuzhong District, Chongqing, China. It was built and operated by Chongqing Little Swan Group and officially opened in 2006. Its main building imitates the style of Chongqing's traditional stilted buildings and is built against the mountain. It is 11 stories high and has a commercial area of 53,000 square meters . |
The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River (长江三峡), also known as the Xiajiang River or the Great Three Gorges, is located on the main stream of the Yangtze River in Chongqing City and Hubei Province, China. It starts from Baidi City in Fengjie County, Chongqing City in the west to Nanjinguan in Yichang City, Hubei Province in the east, with a total length of 193 kilometers. It consists of Qutang Gorge , Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge. |
Ciqikou Ancient Town (磁器口古镇), formerly known as Ciqikou Town, Baiya Town, Baiyanchang Town and Longyin Town, is located in Shapingba District, Chongqing, adjacent to the Jialing River. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Ciqikou has been an important land and water terminal and a distribution center for materials in the lower reaches of the Jialing River. Ciqikou is one of the few places in the main urban area of Chongqing where you can appreciate the flavor of old Chongqing. |
